From Vine to Glass: ChiEliSò Winery Experience with local food in Alto Monferrato

In the hills of Alto Monferrato, near Acqui Terme, the Chielisò family welcomes you to their estate. Your experience begins with a 500-meter walk through the vineyards, located inside the Bosco delle Sorti – La Communa, a protected natural area. Here, your hosts will explain their approach to sustainable viticulture and the work that follows the cycle of the seasons.
The tour continues inside the winery, where you will follow the path of the grapes from the manual harvest through fermentation and aging. The visit concludes in the estate's tasting room, which is air-conditioned in summer and heated in winter, for a seated, guided tasting.
You will taste three wines of your choice from the estate's selection, which includes Barbera del Monferrato DOC, Barbera d'Asti DOCG, Dolcetto d'Acqui DOC, Monferrato Freisa DOC, Cortese dell'Alto Monferrato DOC, Moscato Spumante, and Syrah. Each wine is paired with a local specialty, selected based on seasonal availability. The pairings feature products like Robiola di Roccaverano DOP, local cheeses, and cured meats such as Salame Filetto Baciato, Formaggio Baciato, and Pancetta Baciata, as well as bruschetta with seasonal vegetables. For children, a dedicated sweet or savory snack is provided.
