Discover Italy's famous Food Valley with this food & wine tour, departing from Modena or Bologna!
During this full-day experience, you will have the opportunity to learn the secrets of some well-known Italian brands and globally-acclaimed delicacies.
Your tour will start with a guided visit to a cheese factory to learn how aged Parmigiano Reggiano cheese is produced. Dive into the most authentic making of Parmigiano Reggiano PDO: from the curdling into the typical copper heaters to the salting and the final aging in the so-called wheel cathedrals, you will have the privilege to witness almost all the steps of production of this world-class food icon. At the end of the visit, you will take part in a Parmigiano Reggiano tasting.
Next, your day will continue with a visit to the Ferrari Museum in Maranello. With cars, images, and trophies that have marked the history of the brand, you will have the opportunity to experience the places where the most beautiful cars in the world are designed.
Then the tour continues with a visit to an “Acetaia” to discover the production of the famous “black gold”, the precious traditional balsamic vinegar of Modena, which you will be able to taste at the end of your guided tour.
You will also stop at a picturesque estate situated among the gentle hills of the Modena area for a typical 3-course lunch.
On your last stop before returning home, you will enjoy a visit to a local winery and take a guided tour of the facilities to learn about Lambrusco, a typical sparkling wine from this area of northern Italy.

Pick-up is from a meeting point, P.zza XX Settembre in front of NH De La Gare Hotel, Bologna, you'll need to reach the meeting point on your own. The van leaves at 08:55 am and will not wait for the late comers. Pickup point is a 5-minute walk from Bologna central train station, and not far from the central square.
