About the Winery
Tucked into the sunlit terraces of Western Liguria, Azienda Agricola Saglietto is a family-run estate where nature, tradition, and craftsmanship blend into a timeless expression of the land. Our vineyards, enclosed by ancient dry-stone walls overlooking the sea, are caressed by salty breezes and rooted in steep, sun-drenched slopes. Here, the Pigato and Vermentino grape varieties find perfect conditions to express their best characteristics
We embrace the philisophy of "less quantity, more quality", meticulously caring for each vine through short pruning, cluster thinning, and hand harvesting. Every bottle reflects our deep connection to the terroir and our passion for creating wines that are not only elegant but also authentic expressions of Liguria’s coastal soul.
In the heart of the medieval village of Poggi, guests are invited to stay in charming, historic accommodations, surrounded by olive groves, vineyards, and the aromas of the sea and stone. Whether you come for the wine, the views, or the peace of the Ligurian hills, Saglietto is a place to slow down and savor.

We bought several bottles to bring home. I can recommend buying the Allantu Vermenrino wine. And try the Vermut! Didn’t know this was something for me, but it is. A small glass after a better dinner as a digestive

Wine and oil tasting
The place is wonderful, surrounded by nature, cared for in the smallest details and with a relaxed atmosphere that makes you forget about time. Every explanation was interesting and clear, and the quality of the products… incredible! The delicious wines and the truly special oils, each with its own story and its unique flavor.

Seniors' Year Group Outing to Azienda Agricola Soglietto
Interesting tour through the small wine museum.
The wine tasting was great.
Detailed explanations for each wine and for the olive oil.
We had the Platinum tasting and were thus also able to taste a really good vermouth and a grappa.
The Ligurian specialties served with it were very good.
Definitely get at least the Platinum tasting.
The wines were all delicious.
Only white wines are produced.
The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful.
The Azienda Soglietto also rents rooms and is located on a plateau with a priceless view of the sea.

Great location for Italian winetasting
We booked the wine tasting two days in advance and chose the full experience, which included a vineyard tour, oil tasting, and vermouth tasting – it was really lovely. What was also great is that the tour was given in English, which made it easy for us to follow, as most other wine tastings are held in Italian. The location was absolutely beautiful! It’s tucked away in the hills outside the city, overlooking the sea, creating a picture-perfect and tranquil experience.
The tasting itself was well organized, and the snacks served with the drinks were also delicious. At times we missed a bit of depth in the explanations of the winemaking process – but still, we had such a lovely experience and enjoyed living la bella vita for a few hours!
Huge plus – the hosts are wonderful! Thank you for having us!!
We left with a box of wines and vermouths and if we are to be back in the area we won't hesitate to rebook!
Sometimes it was a bit hard to hear all the information presented as they spoke a bit soft. We would recommend speaking up or repeating certain information another time.
