Food Experience at a Pozzillo Lemon House & Farm in Sicily's countryside

Here is what's in store for you

For this experience, you will be welcomed into the heart of Sicily's countryside and visit a historic Sicilian lemon farm. The property was bought by Giusi's grandfather in 1919. They used to grow grapes, then lemons since the 1930s. The property was also enlarged and restored in the last 20 years.

After a welcome drink, the experience begins with a guided visit to the farm, both the flower garden and the vegetable garden as well the lemon groves. Here you will be able to admire several flower and tree varieties, oranges, and mandarin trees. This magical place was also reported on Geo&Geo, an Italian documentary television program.

After a tour of the estate, it will be time for your hands-on cooking experience. You will cook together with Giusi's mother or other cooks and/or chefs. Different food experiences can be organized - lunch/brunch/dinner - including fresh vegetables, flower recipes, and traditional Sicilian dishes.

Your meal will then be served, paired with Mount Etna wine and fresh juices.

After or before the visit and food experience, you also have the chance to enjoy a walk in the harbor of Pozzillo, a cozy fisherman spot, or visit the ancient well that was found by a water diviner and excavated by hand Giusi's grandfather and other land owners/farmers.
