Small local winery with an interesting selection of wines including some made with innovative techniques. For example, a merlot aged in Roman style clay pots. However, they didn’t have the staff to deal with the visit. There was only one young lady covering everything including a steady stream of local customers (which is of course is a good sign). However, the knock on effect was that she was unable to devote that much time to our wine tour/tasting. Hence it fell well short of expectations.

### English review This winery is not the largest in Ribera del Duero, but I can confidently say that the quality here is second to none. Javier, the manager of this Bodega, welcomed us warmly from the moment we arrived and gave us an interesting and friendly explanation of the winery's history, making us fall in love with its philosophy. We then toured the winery's fermentation and aging facilities, receiving detailed explanations of the wine production process. I was very impressed by the extensive steps taken to select the grapes used in the wine and the use of eco-friendly yeast. We also had the opportunity to taste wine maturing in oak barrels. Although this wine is still young and tannic, I felt that its aroma and balance were excellent. As a wine lover, this was a very special experience for me. Later, we had a private wine tasting. Javier explained the aromas in detail and taught us how to properly taste the wine. In the end, we bought three bottles and headed back.

My daughter and I had a wonderful time at la fonte di Bevagna. The hostess was lovely, the vineyard was beautiful and the wine and olive oil tasting were amazing!! It is worth the trip out to this lovely vineyard! We can't recommend it enough!

This was an absolutely wonderful experience. We went for the tour, wine tasting and charcuterie board and the 2 hours flew by. The wine tasting was great with full details provided of each wine before we tasted. This was had with local bread, olive oil and cheese and meats which were delicious! The tour was around 30 minutes where we were shown the facilities inside where the wine is all made and the tour guide was extremely helpful in detailing everything (I forgot her name!). Then, the scenery. Wow! When you're having your wine tasting you are sat outdoors under the shade to enjoy the beautiful scenery in peace and quiet. It was truly wonderful. This was a lovely 2 hour experience in a beautiful setting, I would highly recommend. Thank you!
