An experience in every sense of the word!
Giorgio and Leonardo welcomed us as if we were family. First, we took a walk in the vineyard where they explained the annual cycle of the vine and the techniques to best carry out this work; afterward we entered the room where the bottles age, in which Giorgio explained how their wines are produced. We then moved to the tasting room with a splendid view over Valpolicella to taste the wines, at first without food and then paired with excellent cheeses with jam and cured meats. An experience that is truly worth having! Giorgio and Leonardo were able to convey their passion to us. We recommend everyone go visit Mezzo Ettaro!!

I hate to complain, I don’t know if I’ve ever given a bad review but we thought it was going to be a hour and a half tour walking through the vineyards and learning some things with a tasting at the end. From out of the car to back on the road wasn’t even 40 minutes with over half that being the tasting. The lady who gave it was so old and sweet, but knew basically no English and could not respond to a question, even simple 3 or 4 words questions. We felt bad making her walk for 15 minutes as she pointed to red grapes and white grapes. Then up and down stairs to show us “fermentation”. I have never been on as awkward of a tour in my life. We read some reviews that said “just enough English to get by”’ but it was basically route memorization in two to five word groups. We tried using translation apps but it was just no use, my husband I just wanted to get out of there. It was really disappointing because this was the one winery tour we had scheduled and it was a huge letdown. I’m not trying to be mean and say we need a native English speaker, but it was basically just pointing at grapes and going inside. There was no walking of the fields or knowledge of anything. We never got more than 20 feet from the house. I think a refund is fair due to how far away what was delivered is from what was represented in the add.

Perfect location for ceremonies
We organized my nephew's Communion lunch under the outdoor patio, reserved just for us for the occasion.
You can choose between menus proposed by the house and customizations of all kinds.
The cellar offers excellent labels to choose from and various organic drinks also for the children (the cola is something incredible!).
We were able to customize the tables but we chose the linens and centerpieces together with Mrs. Laura who had also offered to print the menus.
Great attention to detail, excellent and inventive cuisine while using all products of their own or local production, maximum willingness to please us.
We will definitely return, perhaps in the restaurant's indoor dining room.

Picnic in the Vineyard June 2024
Highly recommended experience! Perfect welcome; the guide told us about the Casadei Estate and its world, showing us the exterior and the cellar. This was followed by a tasting of two glasses of their top labels with focaccina and, having chosen the Picnic package, they provided us with a backpack complete with an entry-level bottle from the winery, white or red of our choice, with portions of a vacuum-packed mixed platter and vegetables in oil (obviously dishes and a blanket). We were able to choose our preferred picnic spot on the estate map, the one near the artificial lake is recommended, and spent 2 hours in complete relaxation, forgetting the world around us.

Lunch in the vineyard!
Terre di Gratia is a small but enchanting winery with a view of the Belice valley.
Gaspare, who runs the winery, welcomed us as if we were family, also sharing a meal on the panoramic terrace, after explaining all the production processes of their labels during the cellar tour.
The wines they produce are all organic and have the authentic taste of the Sicilian land.
