At Mezzo Ettaro, a small family-run winery in the heart of Valpolicella, you'll be welcomed by Giorgio, the owner, and Leonardo, the Hospitality Manager, for an intimate introduction to their estate. Your experience begins with a guided walk through the vineyards, where you'll learn about the winery's history, its sustainable approach, and the unique characteristics of the Valpolicella terroir.

Giorgio and Leonardo will then share the story behind their production methods before leading you to the tasting room, which overlooks the vineyards. Here, you'll enjoy a guided tasting of all 5 Mezzo Ettaro wines, from the The tasting includes Veronese Rosato IGT Frizzante "Impulsivo," Veronese Rosato IGT "Contatto Fugace," Valpolicella DOC "Veloce," Valpolicella Classico Superiore DOC "Attesa Lenta," and Amarone della Valpolicella Classico DOCG "Corte Dolcetta.", accompanied by the estate's own extra virgin olive oil.

The tasting is paired with a light lunch of local specialties, such as Sopressa, Monte Veronese cheese, and artisanal bread with focaccia and bruschetta. For younger visitors, fruit juices are served alongside the food, and an educational coloring kit keeps them engaged. To conclude your visit, you will receive a bag of dried aromatic lavender as a fragrant keepsake of your time at Mezzo Ettaro.

A must-do experience
Our tasting with a light lunch at Mezzo Ettaro was enchanting. Leonardo welcomed us with a smile and among the vines told us the story of the winery and everything that goes into one of their bottles. Their wines are authentic, not commercial, and you can feel the true essence of Valpolicella. The lunch was also noteworthy with high-quality local products. Giorgio, the owner, delighted us with his stories. An unforgettable experience, we will definitely be back!

Magnificent
Beautiful location in the Valpolicella hills, immersed in greenery and total quiet. The two managers are very kind and friendly, and they explain everything in detail.
The wine experience was fantastic, with excellent wines, extra virgin olive oil, and genuine food.
