Spectacular
May 9, 2024, my wife, daughter and son drove out and experienced my favorite activity in our two week vacation! The family owned and operated vineyard reminded me of my childhood being raised on a ranch in Colorado. The atmosphere, the information and learning of the wine production and processing was great, topped off with tasting experiences! Needless to say, we didn’t leave without purchasing amazing tasting wines!

We had our tasting with Marta who was so informative but super fun. IMy family and I left with a new friend who we hope visits us in NY, USA but lovers of this winery. The different wines are perfect for how we entertain or just like to drink our wine. Can’t wait to keep enjoying once we get home.

The tour guide was very friendly and gave very good information. He also knows very well how to keep people interested. The winetasting was very good and nice. The people working there are very kind, friendly and nice people. I really enjoyed my time there and would go back if i'm ever in Porto again.

Excellent wine tasting
Very satisfying wine tasting! We tasted 4 types of wine, all very good, paired with many tasty foods, typical of Sicilian cuisine. To finish we savored the grappa accompanied by an almond dessert, which was also delicious. All of this was accompanied by a visit to the cellar and a short walk in the vineyard. I highly recommend this experience.

A different and excellent experience
A bike ride and picnic. The tour of the estate, very pleasant. We got to learn about the part of the grape that is uncommon.
The picnic basket, very complete and tasty.
The wine, wonderful. And Elsa, a great connoisseur and very attentive to all questions.

Limoncello tour at Il Convento
The only downside to this tour in the details on arrival. We self drove and found it difficult to find even using google maps.
That is the only negative thing I have to say the service was perfect, the gardens are beautiful, our guide was so polite and informative through the tour. The owner even came and introduced himself and was the one taking care of purchases. The limoncello is amazing!! I would recommend booking this tour if you are in the area. Thank you.
