We were lucky enough to do the tour almost privately, it was just me and my wife. The visit to the vineyard was interesting, the one in the cellar a little less so (it's a modern structure and therefore has less charm compared to certain "period" cellars). On the other hand, the oenologist was excellent, having us taste several great wines, explaining not only their history but how to understand aroma, taste, and color, basically giving us a very short tasting course.

I recommend the Savignola Paolina winery for the tasting plus lunch. I should mention that we are not experts, but we appreciated the experience. The staff was kind and helpful with every request. Truly good wine and food at a fair price.

I didn't expect such a precious and dedicated place in the middle of the countryside and industrial warehouses of Aprilia, but this winery is truly a jewel. Having had another tasting in Umbria I was a bit skeptical about what I would find in Aprilia. Instead, I would say that the welcome, the appetizers, the location and... obviously the wine too were very much appreciated by our little group of 5. We had booked the superior tasting but then, having tasted almost all the wines, we offered to pay extra for the complete tasting. The host was honest in saying that the reserve wine needed to breathe a bit and, had he known beforehand, he would have already opened that bottle. Saying no is another sign of professionalism and dedication to one's craft. We will be back with other family and friends - and don't make our mistake - book the complete tasting!

The baglio is very beautiful with a splendid view of the Egadi Islands. I highly recommend visiting it.

30/04/2024 a special day for me!!!! A unique experience at the Carlo Romana farm. Mrs. Andreina is a truly very kind and hospitable person, you immediately feel at ease. What you sense right away is an atmosphere of passion, dedication, and sacrifice. Through family photos and stories, the tour concludes with an excellent wine tasting accompanied by abundant food. The day was a little overcast but anyway you could enjoy a splendid panorama of the surrounding hills and vineyards.
