Excellent experience we had on April 6th (Easter Monday) in Pienza, a delightful little town in the Val d'Orcia. We were truly taken by the welcome but above all by the expertise and passion shown by Mrs. Chiara, who we later discovered has a degree in Food Science. An affable, kind, and knowledgeable person who didn't "smell" of a degree but of nature, countryside, and olive trees or... as she likes to say... of freshly cut grass. We were welcomed by her, her husband, and a two-month-old mixed-breed puppy as if we were old friends. We received a detailed and complete illustration of the phases of olive cultivation and its transformation into oil. We left with a good supply of oil bottles and with more love for a simple life made of many sacrifices but a sure antidote against the stress of modern life. Congratulations! Alessandro and Alma P.S. Truly a beautiful place, very good wine. The only thing, I was perhaps expecting some water between the various glasses, and maybe for the glasses to be changed at least between the white and the red. For the rest, everything was fantastic.

A unique experience to have in Sofia. This project, recently born and carried on by these two guys passionate about history and wine, is a journey through Bulgarian culture, the slightly lesser-known side. Ivo, our guide, told us the history of wine in Bulgaria and showed us, on the map, the country's wine-growing regions and their respective wineries. He then guided us with great expertise in the tasting of 5 local wines and Rakia. The most beautiful thing about the experience? (Besides the wine) … it's much more than a tasting, it's a social moment that allows you to meet new people to form a group with while exchanging opinions on the wines just tasted. As they say in Italy “wine brings people together”, so it was. THANK YOU IVO

The wine tasting experience was the experience that made our vacation more authentic. The experience began with a warm welcome from the gentlemen of the vineyard who then accompanied us to get to know the agricultural reality of the place. They told us how wine production works, from step 1 of the process all the way to bottling. The gentleman was very willing to explain to us how agriculture works there, also telling us about the olives and honey. The visit then continued in the fermentation cellar. What made the experience beautiful, besides the good wine and the delicious tasting of local products and the spectacular view, was the company. We spent an excellent evening with laughter and chatter. An experience I would recommend to anyone who wants a "taste" of the reality of Val d'Orcia!
