More than a tasting, Massimo and his wife are a couple from another time, in them you can feel that love between two people and the love for what they do. The selection of wines offered was excellent.

It was a beautiful experience. We walked among the vines and visited the cellar. Erica explained the whole process by which the wine is produced and told us a lot of interesting things about the winery. The tasting was delicious, we tasted 5 different Valpolicella wines accompanied by a superb platter of cured meats and cheeses and in the end a small dessert as well. All accompanied by a splendid view of the vineyard. Erica was kind, welcoming and very knowledgeable. Thanks for the wonderful day.

The visit to the Apollonio winery was truly satisfying, both for the wines they presented to us and for the tour of the vineyard and the cellar. An informative and substantial tour, a beautiful experience!

An experience I recommend to all lovers of good wine, from the property a fantastic view over the whole valley and the vineyards of the Nicklas winery. The young Nicklas, an excellent speaker and super knowledgeable on the subject, took us on a journey through the whole process from the vine to the wine tasting in a simple and very understandable way in every little detail and answering all questions exhaustively. A simple person but one who shows all his passion for this beautiful world, moreover we were lucky enough to meet his dad and grandmother and there you understand the reason for all this passion. The wines reflect the family, simple but with a bold and very balanced character, the reserves are excellent. Compliments to the Nicklas family.

It's not easy to get there, but once you're on site, you're struck by the simplicity and authenticity of the place, which overlooks a valley of vine rows. Skilled and kind Luigi, the staff member who accompanied us into the cellar and recounted the history of the family of farmers/entrepreneurs. What can I say about the wines offered: we were surprised by how they work with Montepulciano, both as a single varietal and together with Sangiovese, with an excellent result. The same can be said for the white we tried, Sauvignon and Pecorino… an international marriage! An authentic respect for the territory with native vines combined with non-excessive experimentation that enhances the taste and rewards the nose. In short, a wonderful surprise from the Marche region.
