Fantastic Umbria Wine and Food experience
We spent 5 hours doing the Francesca wine and food option at La Veneranda. Although not fluent in English the staff made our experience very special and we also had access to English/Italian cards describing the wines. Both Anna Rita and Barbera were very kind and welcoming throughout the afternoon. We were completely unrushed and could take our time enjoying the excellent wines (8 all up) and the copious food (lots of local prosciutto and cheese). We sat in a small comfortable air-conditioned room for the tasting. We would strongly recommend this small winery for an authentic Umbrian experience.

Great wine tasting
We booked this wine tasting quite last minute and super glad that we did. We had a great tour around the cellars and our guide spoke amazing English. We learnt lots and was really interesting to hear about the making of the wine. The second part of the tour which included tasting 5 different wines and trying local delicacies to match. Both the wine and food was beautiful, we were even seated overlooking the vineyards and mountains. We were very well looked after and would recommend to anyone.

Wine Tasting
We had an amazing experience during our recent visit to the winery! The wine tasting was exceptional, offering a great variety of delicious wines. The atmosphere was charming and relaxing, making it a perfect day out. A special thanks to Sara, who made our visit even more memorable. She was incredibly friendly, kind, and knowledgeable, taking the time to explain the nuances of each wine and making sure we had a wonderful time. We highly recommend this winery !

Monte Solaio Tasting - Campiglia Marittima
The winery produces both wine and oil of excellent quality.
The tasting consists of an explanation and sampling of 4 wines with typical cured meats and cheeses, accompanied by a very evocative atmosphere and panorama that lets you fully live this food and wine experience. On one side you can see the Etruscan coast and on the other the Monte Solaio castle along with the various hills.
The sommelier proved to be very knowledgeable and helpful. After the tasting, it is possible to buy wine and oil and move to the castle's wine shop for purchases from the menu.
Quality and price of 20 euros per person, unbeatable.

A beautiful evening despite the bad weather
When we arrived at the winery it started to rain, preventing us from taking the tour through the vineyard.
The owners were very sorry about this but, despite that, the evening was very pleasant given their hospitality and the quality of the food and especially the wine.
Each glass tasted was accompanied by an explanation of how it had been produced, from the selection of the grapes, to their care, up to the bottling and aging.
Truly a beautiful story because you could feel the passion and love the owners have for their vineyard.

Perfect afternoon in the Langhe
A really beautiful experience! We did the winery tour with a very knowledgeable English-speaking guide, and then we proceeded with the tasting and lunch. Although it was a new tasting format for me (having one glass at a time while I ate my meal), the entire staff was very well-prepared and always started by describing the wine before serving us and then leaving us to ourselves. The food was all truly excellent and the view breathtaking!

Unique
It was perhaps the most unexpectedly beautiful experience of our vacation, one to remember over time.
The wine tour took us on a journey from the earth to the table with anecdotes we didn't know and that made it clear to us that offering a good final product is the result of hard work and knowledge of winemaking techniques.
The tasting was magical, among the olive trees of their kiosk... we didn't want to ever leave! Excellent wines, kindness and helpfulness complete the picture of a perfect evening.
