"Riserva" private full day tour of Franciacorta from Bergamo area

Spend a private full day in Franciacorta, starting from the Bergamo area, to explore what happens when vintage and time become central to Metodo Classico. Across three estates, you will taste 12 Franciacorta wines, moving through different Millesimati, a mature Riserva, and a complete traditional lunch in the heart of the denomination.

Your first stop is Villa Franciacorta in Monticelli Brusati. Here, the hospitality manager will guide you through the estate’s history and production philosophy. The visit focuses on their approach to vintage Franciacorta and concludes with a tasting of three Franciacorta Millesimati. The exact labels are selected by the winery based on the best expressions of individual harvests, ensuring a tasting centered on character rather than a fixed lineup.

The day continues at Tenuta Ambrosini in Cazzago San Martino. After a walk through the vineyards, weather permitting, you will visit the winery to learn how Franciacorta is produced. You will then sit down for a traditional lunch at the estate, served . The tasting here broadens to six Franciacorta wines, including the mature Lorenzo Ambrosini Riserva 2012 DOCG. Lunch begins with Brescian cured meats, savory pies, and local Malga cheese with homemade preserves. This is followed by a risotto prepared with their Franciacorta DOCG and a Brescian-style mixed meat spit roast with polenta and potatoes. A final cheese course from the Brescia valleys is paired with the Riserva, before dessert and coffee.

In the afternoon, you will reach Le Marchesine in Passirano for a final look at vintage Franciacorta. The guided visit takes you through the production areas and underground cellars, explaining the work behind a Millesimato. The tasting includes three Franciacorta wines: one classic expression and two Millesimati selected from the estate’s range, which may include their Brigantia Satèn, Artio Rosé, or Esus Brut. The wines are served with grissini breadsticks.
