Vineyard Safari & Wine Tasting at Tenuta Corte Giacobbe in Roncà

Your experience at Tenuta Corte Giacobbe begins in the winery, where a hospitality manager will greet you and guide you through the cellar. Here, you'll see the vinification and aging areas and learn about the winemaking process of the Dal Cero family.

Next, you'll board a 4x4 vehicle for an off-road journey through the estate’s vineyards. A local driver will take you to the summit of Monte Calvarina, an extinct volcano rising to 600 meters, where the family grows its finest grapes. The view from the top offers a unique perspective on the landscape that gives the wines their distinct character.

Back at the winery, your visit concludes in the tasting room with a guided tasting of five wines that express this volcanic terroir:
- Spumante Cuvée Augusto Durello Metodo Classico: A traditional method sparkling wine from the Durella grape, with citrus and bready notes.
- Soave DOC Roncà Monte Calvarina: A fresh, floral Garganega with a characteristic almond finish.
- Runcata Soave Superiore DOCG: A structured cru Soave with saline and almond notes.
- Niconero Pinot Nero: A Monti Lessini Pinot Nero with red cherry and earthy notes, aged in wood and cement.
- Amarone della Valpolicella DOCG: A full-bodied red from dried Corvina, Corvinone, and Rondinella grapes, with notes of dried fruit and cocoa.

The tasting is accompanied by grissini (breadsticks).
