The Art of Bubbles – Tour and Sparkling Wine Tasting at Garofoli

This is a journey through the Charmat and the Metodo Classico methods. 

Discover the many expressions of Verdicchio and Montepulciano, shaped by lees aging, time, and savoir-faire. Explore the differences between the Charmat and Metodo Classico methods at Cantina Garofoli through a unique sensory experience 

Immerse yourself in the world of Garofoli, learning about the history of the family and winery. The experience includes a visit to the barrel cellar and a walk among the fascinating wooden pupitres, where sparkling wines are carefully refined.

The tour is followed by a guided tasting of four sparkling wines, accompanied by a tasting of Extra Virgin Olive Oil – Blend of Leccino and Frantoio. The tasting is paired with local delicacies, including Prosciutto Crudo di Carpegna DOP, Salame Ciauscolo IGP, Pecorino Cheese, Salame Fabriano IGP, and Lonza Marchigiana. If any of these products are unavailable, high-quality regional alternatives will be provided.

The sparkling wines included in the tasting are Spumante Brut Metodo Charmat, Brut Rosé Metodo Classico, Brut Riserva Metodo Classico, and Pas Dosé Metodo Classico.

Children can join for free, but for a more engaging experience, the "Little Sommelier" program is available, introducing young participants to tasting techniques with two fruit juices, a personalized tasting sheet, cookies  and the opportunity to design their own wine label, which will be applied to a 0.37-liter bottle to take home. This experience offers a fun and educational approach for young visitors while adults explore the world of Verdicchio and sparkling wines at Garofoli.
