As the sun sets over the hills of Alto Monferrato, you're invited for an aperitivo at the Chielisò winery, hosted by the winemaker. The tasting takes place among the estate's vineyards, offering a direct view of the landscape during the golden hour.
You will enjoy a guided tasting of four wines, selected by you from the winery's range. The choice includes an aromatic Brut from Moscato grapes, Cortese dell'Alto Monferrato DOC, Monferrato Chiaretto DOC (from Freisa), Dolcetto d'Acqui DOC, Monferrato Freisa DOC, Barbera d'Asti DOCG, and a Syrah made without added sulphites.
The wines are served with a platter of local specialties sourced from small family producers. You'll taste Cresponetto, Filetto Baciato, and Formaggio Baciato from Ponzone, alongside cheeses like raw goat's milk Roccaverano DOP. The selection, which varies by season, is completed with bread and bruschetta with olives and cherry tomatoes.
For children and teenagers, the winery provides sandwiches with cured meats and cheese, breadsticks, fruit juice, and board games.
