This tour offers you the perfect way to visit Ribera del Duero in a single day! During the tour, you will have the opportunity to taste many different wines (10 at least) in 4 remarkable wineries, visiting 2 of them, and stopping by some of the most outstanding towns of the region, with the help of an expert guide who will accompany you at all times to explain the monuments, history and the most important information that you need to know about the different wines, production, types of grapes, aging, or how to taste a wine of Ribera del Duero.
The tour starts at 9:00 in Peñafiel (Bus Station) or at 9:45 in Aranda de Duero (Plaza de la Virgencilla). The day begins with an introduction to the wines of the area and their differences, tasting red wines as well as rosé and whites, discovering their soils, the characteristics of the wine region, and how the wines are made. In addition to discovering the wines of Ribera del Duero, you will have the opportunity to visit some of the most interesting monuments in the region, like the Ducal Palace of Peñaranda de Duero, the entrance to which is also included (On some days it will be possible to visit another alternative site).
The tour continues with a tasting in another renowned Ribera del Duero winery that will allow you to learn more about the reality of the world of wine and its producers: sometimes famous names and grand architecture projects, sometimes small producers with great wines.
Your next stop will be another renowned winery, where you'll be walked through the fermentation and aging area, finishing with a wine tasting accompanied by a snack before continuing on to the next stop.
Once the visited the third winery, you will head towards the Peñafiel area. There, you will have the opportunity to taste the last wines of the day in a closeby winery before driving towards this charismatic town. There, its castle allows you to observe some outstanding views over the Duero Valley to the tour with some great memories.
