This young businessman, with the degree in Technical Engineer in agriculture , with a master in wine elaboration and with a great experience in the Ribera del Duero´s region, making use of his knowledge and with the support of. Medrano Martín family, could make his dream into reality. Nowadays, Rubén and his wife Mónica share works and dreams for the wine, and they are transfering this illusion to their daughter Sara. Bodegas Vega de Yuso is a little cellar that have the best technical resources to make an excellent wine.

Bodega & Viñedos ABADÍA DE ACÓN S.LAbadía de Acón is located in the heart of the D.O. Ribera del Duero, in Castrillo de la Vega, Burgos. The original cellar, hewn out of rocky clay, is one of the deepest and largest in Castrillo de la Vega. Here, during many centuries, our family made wines using traditional methods. In 1953 our grandfather, Norberto Carrasco, built concrete vats in the cellar and, through a wise combination of concrete and wood, managed to make graceful, fruity, mature and elegant wines. Since then we kept taking care of the land and vineyards, making wine thanks to the traditional way and using the knowledge necessary to realize our current project. Today it is Jose Antonio Carrasco who has inherited his grandfather's wisdom to bring forward a great wine to his children and grandchildren so that our company remains during a long time.

Bodegas PeñafalconBodegas Peñafalcon is family owned vineyard with a long tradition, currently managed by Casimiro Marcos and his wife Maria Jose Arranz. The origins of the vineyard go back to the time of the ancestors of the present owners, who made wine in old wine presses dating back to the XVII century. Wine culture and a love for creating these elegant wines has been handed down through generations until to Casimiro de Peñafalcon himself. Every year he made small quantities of wines using traditional methods, to be enjoyed amongst family and friends. In the year 2000, Casimiro fulfilled one of his dreams, when he began producing and commercialising his own wines under the Designation of Origin ‘Ribera del Duero’ in the town of Peñafiel. He called his vineyard ‘Peñafalcon’, after the XI century name of the town, recorded in the ‘Rhyming verse of the poem Mio Cid’; Rodrigo won the battle, Praise be to God, On to Peñafalcon, So is Peñafiel called.

Cillar de Silos SLThe Aragon family has been historically linked to wine and with working traditions related to wine with the best results in the area for many years. Although the winery was inaugurated in 1970, Amalio Aragon had already begun buying small plots with high quality vines, waiting for the right moment to complete his dream of becoming a winery owner. The first harvest of Cillar de Silos was in 1995. Today, three of Amalio´s children run the winery. Roberto Aragon is Manager and is responsible for winery sales; Óscar Aragón, who studied Enology and is the Technical Director responsible for viticulture and winemaking of Cillar de Silos wines and Amelia Aragon who is in charge of exporting the wines around the world. In this family winery we are proud of our vines and our passion for the land which provides us with a world re-knowned grape variety :Tempranillo, The search for old vines is a continuous investment in the vineyard, which sets the Aragon family apart from the rest. The use of new technology and the best barrels on the market also makes this winery stand out along with the legacy passed on by previous generations.

Cepa 21Bodegas Cepa 21 is the new ambitious project headed by the Moro family, the owners of Bodegas Emilio Moro, one of the most emblematic wineries in the Ribera del Duero. The aim of this project has been to build a modern, functional, minimalist new winery drawing on the savoir faire acquired over the years by several generations of the Moro family in the making of modern-style wines. The Moro brothers, José and Javier, wanted to bring some of their best friends into the project and get them to experience some of the thrills and excitement of being part of the world of wine. The winery, which nestles in the middle of fifty hectares (around 124 acres) of its own Tinto Fino vines (the purest Tempranillo clone), is modern and equipped to bring out the very best of one of the finest varietals in the world. This new wine, Cepa 21, is aimed at consumers who have the expertise and open-mindedness to discover new tasting characteristics and who also appreciate the subtlety and elegance of a wine that is soft and sweet on the palate with bold aromatics. Cepa 21 is the pure expression of the wine-making revolution that has been taking place in our country over the last years.
