5 Amazing Intimate Wine Tour! (Shanaya)We had a great time touring Palazzo Vecchio Winery. We got to see where all the wine is made and stored and had a beautiful view with our wine tasting at the end. Would highly recommend this experience to anyone visiting the Montelpuciano area!

5 Wonderful experience! (Christel)Cantina Canaio Winery was the most wonderful experience. Set in beautiful surroundings overlooking the Tuscan countryside. The hosts Pietro and Claudia made us feel so welcome and relaxed. Claudia made some delicious food to go along with the superb wine combinations. Definitely worth a visit and I I can highly recommend it.

5 Tasting With Passionate Vigneron (Mike)Mr. Lucca gave us a detailed history of his vineyards with plenty of his own take on events. Then we went into the production side of his small operations. Then came the tasting; what fantastic wines. Very generous pours! Then his mother came in and gave us little jars of honey made on the property. Great experience!

5 Excellent Winery and warm welcome (Paul)It has been a very nice experience. They are letting you visit the vines and the land that surround the winery and then you’ll have a visit inside the production area and also a little visit to the cellar where the great reserves are located. After this you’ll have a very generous tasting of their great wines. Excellent experience! We will come back!

5 Wine experience at Cantina Canaio (Kathy)We had such a lovely experience at the family owned Cantina Canaio! The winery is in a beautiful location. Photos simply cannot fully capture the picturesque countryside. We were so warmly welcomed upon our arrival. The wine tour was interesting and our guide was so informative and charming. The "light" lunch was fantastic and also quite filling and tasty! We enjoyed all the wines that we tasted and ordered some to ship home (and bought a couple bottles to take with us). We had a relaxing experience in such a tranquil setting. Highly recommend Cantina Canaio experence!

5 5 stars for Cantina Canaio (Mandy)We visited the family run vineyard Cantina Canaio, between Cortona and Montepulciano for a wine tasting and lunch to celebrate my daughter’s birthday. What a fantastic event, it far exceeded our expectations. Firstly we had the place to ourselves so we felt more like special guests rather than tourists. Marzia spoke excellent English and gave us a great background to the history of the vineyard and the renovations which the family have undertaken over the last 10 years or so. Then followed a tour of the winery and cellar and a description of the wine making process which was very informative and interesting. After this we were shown into the dining room for the wine tasting and lunch. We had a 3 course meal which was described as a light lunch complete with descriptions of every course in Italian by the lovely and enthusiastic cook. Thank goodness Marzia could translate. The wines were all delicious and we each had different favourites - mine was the rosé. There is no pressure to buy any wines but we couldn’t resist stocking up with a few bottles to take back to our Villa. What a great way to spend a few hours in the beautiful Tuscan countryside. Can thoroughly recommend - you won’t be disappointed.

The wines we sampled were lovely and the accompanying food was delicious, in fact I am planning to try to recreate the pasta! We enjoyed looking at the book of photographs showing how the farmhouse had been recreated.

5 First dream experience (Marinella)I must premise that this was the first real tasting of my life, but what it left me and my partner with was truly positive and unforgettable. A special thanks goes to the lady who accompanied us for the entire duration of the experience, and to her son. Together they welcomed us and showed us the wonderful expanse of vineyards that opened up before our eyes, explaining the importance of the soil, of climate change, of the constant and conscious labor. They then accompanied us to the cellars, where they showed us the journey a bunch of grapes takes before becoming wine, then the bottling and all the sustainable choices implemented by this family and their motivations. They then had us sit in a lovely little spot, in the cool, where we tasted 6 different wines, grappa, vin santo and oil, all accompanied by an excellent plate of cured meats. We were constantly followed and advised, and the lady was always ready to answer our every curiosity. Thank you, thank you, thank you so much, highly recommended and unbeatable quality-price ratio.

5 Pleasant experience (Marco)We were at Cantine Canaio and it was a truly pleasant experience. Mirco welcomed us with great kindness and accompanied us on a tour of the cellars, explaining clearly how he works: you can immediately see that behind every choice there is care, attention, and above all, so much passion. They produce few bottles and few wines, but the quality is very high: everything we tasted was focused, clean, and with a beautiful personality. After the tour, we did the tasting, accompanied by appetizers and a first course: everything was delicious, well-chosen products, and more than satisfying portions. I highly recommend the visit: it's one of those places where they don't just sell you wine, but they transmit a story and an enthusiasm that stays with you. Compliments to Mirco!

5 A+ Experience (Andrea)Today I had an unexpectedly beautiful experience at the Cantina Fitto delle Chianacce, where a tasting of their wines and oil had been booked. Signora Edda welcomed us with great cordiality and told us the very interesting story of their production, from the white to the rosé, a good four red wines, oaked and unoaked, including a remarkable Syrah, to finish with a delicious Vin Santo, enjoyed to the fullest with an excellent pecorino from Pienza. So much dedication from the Signora and her family came through during the meeting, in a beautiful landscape setting of the Cortona area, of Chianacce. Congratulations, excellent wines, which are sure to find favor among consumers who appreciate the products of our Land. A special mention goes to the EVO oil, delicate and flavorful, which was greatly appreciated on bread. There is no comparison between this oil and what you buy in stores, even at a high price. Thanks to Signora Edda and her availability, for a meeting that lasted over an hour and a half, with a visit to the cellars and the related tasting.

5 A fantastic reality (Gabriele)I visited this winery with my girlfriend in the month of January! We were pleasantly surprised, the winery is fabulous, immersed in greenery with a breathtaking view of the valley. Inside, technology reigns supreme, making it possible to guarantee important quality standards. The owner was very kind, guiding us on this visual and sensory tour with the utmost seriousness and engagement. The wines are all high quality, I feel I must recommend the Syrah (delicious), the wine that best represents their winery and the territory of Cortona.
