The Spensierata vineyard puts quality and biodiversity over profits and we loved their approach. We all enjoyed the tour and wine tasting. Afterwards we were able to purchase some bottles of wine, olive oil and pesto.

5 Wine tour in Spensierata (Victoria)We ordered the wine tour in Spensierata Franciacorta from Winedering.com. The processes was very easy and informative, with fast, reliable updates on your booking. You get a good idea of what to expect, where to go, the prices are correct and there are no surprises. Would definitely recommend using Winedering for booking of winetours, and will probably use it again myself. This was my husband and I's first wine tour ever, and also one of the best experiences we had in Italy. We got to see the beautiful vineyards, and other acres. We got to see the fermenters and where they store the wine to age, and see the champagne method in real life. After the tour of the winery, we sat down in beautiful landscape, and was served local delicades (all made from this vineyard) and presented the Franciacorta wines. We got three glasses each with different types, like Brut, Saten and Brut Nature. All if these wines were paired with delicades according to taste. The wine itself was very enjoyable, prefectly paired and well presented. We were really happy to see this biodynamic and down-to-earth winery, driven by a family with great morals and pride in their trade. Everything there is handpicked and organic. Would definitly recommend.

The olive oil is super delicious, we bought several bottles right away. Very nice tour and explanations in English, so definitely recommended. One small catch: The Cantina, where the tour started, is not easy to find.

Dog-friendly guided tour of the cellar, tasting of 3 excellent glasses with local specialties with bread and their oil, chickpea hummus, small salad of red cabbage - apples and walnuts and brioche with yogurt and beetroot sauce, everything was truly exquisite. With an excellent tasting at the end (we were unfortunately inside due to rain, but outside you could see the space for the "outdoor" tasting, which is enchanting). We were shown the place where the wine is stored and produced and were told about the history and the activities of the winery. We were provided with 3 different white wines, some fresh homemade bread and some thin sliced meat. It all tasted amazing and the staff was lovely. A must visit when you are in the Iseo region.
