About the Winery
In Passirano, in the heart of Franciacorta, Le Marchesine was founded in 1985 by Giovanni Biatta, who purchased the first three hectares of vineyards to give shape to a legacy built on passion and vision.
But the Biatta family’s connection to the world of wine goes back much further: for over five generations, winemaking excellence has been a family craft. It all began with Camillo Biatta, already a négociant-éleveur, followed by his son Vittorio, and then Giovanni, who turned tradition into enterprise.
Today, the winery is led by Loris Biatta, enthusiastically joined by his son and daughter, Andrea and Alice, a new generation ready to preserve the knowledge of the past and carry it into the future.
From a small estate of three hectares to more than 47 hectares of vineyards in the heart of Franciacorta: today, Le Marchesine is one of the most dynamic and recognized wineries in the region, with an annual production nearing 450,000 bottles.

Elegance, identity, and character: Le Marchesine’s Franciacorta wines reflect our winemaking philosophy through three distinctive lines.
The Classics, such as Brut Nitens and Dosaggio Zero Audens, are versatile and straightforward, perfect for any occasion and ideal for discovering our style.
The Millesimati, Artio Rosé, Brigantia Satèn, Esus Blanc de Blancs, and Nodens Blanc de Noir celebrate the finest vintages and their grape varieties, offering refined and harmonious interpretations.
At the pinnacle of our production is the Secolo Novo line, the highest expression of our savoir-faire: vintage Franciacorta wines, crafted only in exceptional years, with extended lees aging and a deep, distinctive character. A sensory journey into the true heart of Franciacorta.

La degustazione non è stata da meno, avevamo 3 calici e per ognuno ci hanno fatto scegliere tra due etichette.
Aggiungerei qualcosa da mangiare, era previsto solo un pacchetto di grissini
