Our farm, guarded by a centuries-old mulberry tree, spans five hectares on the morainic hills of Lake Garda. We believe in the potential of these silt-clay soils, expressing their purity in our artisanal wines. Our work honors the traditions and efforts of those before us, rooted in sustainable and manual practices. Every step in our small production, limited to just 8,000 bottles, is carried out by hand, reflecting our commitment to respecting the land and its ecosystem.   An ancient mulberry tree is the silent guardian of five hectares of vineyards.  It witnesses our venture on the moraine hills on the lower Lake Garda. We firmly trust in the potential of these silt-clay soils as we express their terroir through the elegance of our wines. Our past has been forged by the strength of the soil and those who took care of it before us. Grandfather’s historic cellar has been the crib to our defined and sustainable dream. We produce artisanal wines, respecting tradition, and protecting the environment and ecosystem. In the vineyard, we prefer integrated agriculture. In the cellar, we protect the integrity of the must and its aromatic components to obtain a genuine wine. For us, craftsmanship is at the basis of everything. Every gesture and process goes through our hands. Our small production demonstrates it ( 8000 bottles in total)

Casa Sartori 1898
(Winery in Lugana)

5 (2 Reviews)
By its very nature, Casa Sartori 1898 is not interested in the oddities that increasingly seem to attract the attention of many producers and consumers. Andrea, Luca, and their colleagues in Colognola ai Colli prefer to remain faithful to a more sober, elegant, and timeless style that more than anything else best represents them. This is the real "innovation" of Casa Sartori 1898: the ability to adapt their wines appropriately, without succumbing to passing fads that, like violent thunderstorms, cyclically cloud the skies of the wine scene. However, above all, it is the satisfaction that comes from getting in touch with nature, so dear to the Veronese, and from conscientiously and respectfully making something unique to share with the people and places they love most.

CORTE SERMANA
(Winery in Lugana)

On the southern bank of Lake Garda, a few miles away from Verona, lies the Corte Sermana vineyard: a tiny ‘Clos’ at a stone’s throw from the lakeshore. Here in the historical zone of the Lugana Doc appellation - one of Italy's finest whites - our family has been growing grapes for three generations. In our Corte Sermana vineyard, a fortunate combination of geology (white clay rich in calcium carbonate) and microclimate (breezy summer nights) makes the native 'Turbiana' white grapes yield white wines of remarkable finesse and mineral energy, capable of significant cellar aging.
