5 Delightful Evening (Chris)We spent a delightful evening with Maurizio and his family at the wine tasting last night. We got to try several different wines, white, red and sparkling along with antipasti from the region. (Romina was also able to provide gluten free options for the food which was much appreciated). We also found out a lot not only about the wine and how it is produced but also the history of the region. We would highly recommend this experience for a relaxed and pleasant evening in Le Marche.

His wife spoiled us with delicious food and, of course, we tasted some wonderful wines. Later in the week, we had another delicious meal at a different location, nestled among the vines. It's not always available, but we were lucky.

The owner was very inspiring and told us not only about wine making and the wines but also about the history of the region.

4 Great and delicious wine tasting cantina (Susan)We had a very nice visit with 4 persons to the cantina. We started with a tour where we could see all the machines, wine barrels and Mauro told us about the wine process! Very interesting! After the tour we started the tasting and we tasted 5 delicious wines including vino cotto! Mauro's wife made antipasti and cake. Excellent! I really can recommend this wine tasting! You can buy the wine afterwards for a really good (low) price! So we can also enjoy the wines in the Netherlands when we will be back from holiday.

5 Wonderful wine tasting in Le Marche (JENNIFER)My husband and I had a wonderful experience with our tasting at Terre San Ginesio. Maurizio showed us around the whole production facility and we learned so much about the local area. Along with delicious homemade treats from his wife, Romina, we tasted a variety of wines and the one of a kind vino cotto, a specialty of the area. All of the wines were of great quality and with a an affordable price-we we’re delighted to have found this local treasure.

5 Cantine Muròla (Daniele)Very satisfying, I was welcomed by a very beautiful, highly prepared, and talented girl. First she took me to see the cellar, where the barrels and bottles were kept, telling me the story from the founder's time to today. After the cellar visit, lasting about twenty minutes, I enjoyed a tasting of 3 wines and a board of excellent local products, including: cheeses and cured meats. It was a very tasty early September Sunday.

5 Everything was perfect (Mariabelem)We were a group of 13 people and this also helped us to be more attentive during the tasting. Filippo welcomed us perfectly, helpful and patient. He initially gave us a photographic tour, explaining the entire history of Garofoli in detail. Then we moved on to the cellar, which is fascinating. Where he told us about all the winemaking methods they use. He showed us a lot of interesting things. Finally, we went upstairs for the tasting, which was also perfect. We tasted 4 of their iconic wines. The red was spectacular. Accompanied by a mixed board including local olive oil. What can I say, Filippo was fantastic and available for every question and/or request of ours. So thank you!

5 Like feeling at home (Mariabelem)Gagliardi welcomed us as if we had known each other forever. We took a quick tour of the cellar where he explained all their winemaking methods in detail etc. He even answered all my questions! Finally, we stayed on the main floor where I loved the little details (photographs and vintage accessories). Here we did a tasting of a whopping 8 wines where the daughter (I don't remember her name, but I remember her being totally friendly and knowledgeable) led our tasting, accompanied by a board of typical cold cuts and cheeses. Obviously spectacular. What can I say, I felt at home: there were just me and my boyfriend for the tasting and she explained practically everything to us front to front. Highly recommended.

5 Garofoli Wineries Tour (Maria Lucrezia )Magnificent experience, kind and friendly staff, they were able to excellently explain the story behind this magnificent reality that is the Garofoli company, its history, the story of the Garofoli family and the successful business choices that followed. The winery tour was super appreciated and the use of the barrels of the past and the current ones was well explained, the difference between the various woods that compose them, everything explained excellently. The winery tour was followed by a tasting of their wines, which were excellent from every point of view.

Then we moved on to a tasting of excellent wines accompanied by a platter of local cured meats. 5 A birthday among hills, cellar, and Marche flavors (Simone Marino)A truly pleasant, well-organized experience, and much more interesting than a simple tasting. As soon as I arrived, I was welcomed by a very kind young woman, whose name I unfortunately don't remember, who guided me through the entire tour with attentiveness, helpfulness, and that calm manner that makes you feel immediately at ease, without the 'sommelier lesson with a final exam' effect. The visit began with the story of the company and the family, then moved on to the cellar: a place where you can really feel the connection between history, territory, agricultural work, and that almost engineering-like precision that is part of the identity of Tenute Muròla. It's not just a beautiful cellar to look at, it's a place with a story behind it. The tasting included the white Ribona, fresh, fragrant, and very pleasant; then the Camà, a soft, elegant, and easy-to-appreciate Rosso Piceno; and finally the Teodoro, from Montepulciano grapes, more intense, spicy, and structured. I say this more as a curious traveler than a wine expert: they are three different tastes, each with a clear personality, explained in a simple and understandable way. The platter of local products was also much appreciated: pecorino cheese, salami, ciauscolo, coppa, olives, and gluten-free bread with the estate's EVO oil. Truly high-quality products and, importantly for me, great attention also paid to the dietary needs indicated at the time of booking. The setting of Tenute Muròla then plays its part: hills, silence, well-kept spaces, and a general feeling of order, beauty, and welcome. You can perceive a sincere care for the guests, not just for the wine. The final shop was also very interesting, where you can buy the estate's products. I took home Camà, Orbesallia, and the Maretto Ribona Beer: the Camà more elegant and enveloping, the Orbesallia more direct and everyday, while still being a Rosso Piceno, and the beer a truly original curiosity linked to the territory. In summary: a recommended experience for those who want to discover a piece of the Marche region through a real winery, local products, a beautiful family story, and a very attentive welcome. It's not a cold or contrived visit: it's a small immersion into a territory that here you drink, taste, and listen to.

Don't expect a typical wine tasting session with an expert who points out every detail, but an hour and a half of stories and interesting facts about the area and the history of the wines they produce. The accompanying food was delicious, with vegetables, cheeses, and salamis served with delicious focaccia.
