5 Excellent wine tour and tasting (Elizabeth)We had a lovely afternoon att Mazzarosa which is just outside Rosetto degli Abruzzo. Our guide was very helpful in explaining the history of the winery. At the last minute we changed our package from the picnic to the wine tasting itself and we enjoyed a selection of wines paired with food it was lovely to be able to do this without a car as we simply took a taxi from Rosetto. I would recommend this experience.

5 An excellent experience.. (John)From the time we got there to the minute we departed, it was an inviting, informative and entertaining experience. Our host, Alicia, was absolutely fantastic. She was patient, very knowledgeable...,and her understanding of the english language was impressive. The winery, established in the mid 1800's, has SO much history in terms of the production and storage of wine. The founder was a master innovator. You can better appreciate it's transformation into a modern wine making operation.. The tasting room was set up beautifully, and the process of pairing wines with cheeses, meats and breads was definitely one of the highlights. The winery is in located in a beautiful area of the region with views of the olive groves and vineyard. The experience surpassed expectations. Thank you, Cantina Mazzarosa!

5 Wine Tasting for the 1st time! (Maria-Grazia)There were 3 of us visiting the winery for wine tasting and with only us the group, the experience felt very personal and special. Sara our guide was lovely and knowledgeable. She made each wine she descibed very interesting with how it was made and which food best go with it. We all had many questions which she answered confidently.. We live in England but my family are from Abruzzo and my father makes wine ever year importing grapes from the Montepulciano range. His red wine is excellent, particularly with a meal, but it was fabulous to taste various wines from the region and find out how they were made using different methods giving it particular tastes. It was also interesting to learn of the history of the cantina. The whole experience was thoroughly enjoyed and I will be recommending Cantina Mazzarosa to others. In fact we have plans to return with 2 other parties staying at our B&B this summer.

5 Highly recommended! (Valentina)There were two of us and we booked a walk with a tasting for Sunday morning. We were welcomed by Alberto, a kind and very knowledgeable person, who accompanied us through the vineyards and in the cellar, passionately illustrating the entire production process, from the field to the bottle, carefully answering all our questions. The tasting took place on the ground floor of the building, in a truly evocative setting: in front of us the hills, with the sea on the left and the snow-capped mountains on the right. Everything was accompanied by an aperitivo with focaccia, cured meats, local cheeses and their own oil, enriched by Mr. Alberto's travel stories. The wines are excellent, refined and of great quality. A truly pleasant experience: we will definitely be back!

5 An immersion in relaxation (Natasha )We arrived at the Uma Casanatura winery by chance: we had an afternoon and little time, and the winery is an hour's drive from our home. Alberto welcomed us with great professionalism but at the same time made us feel right at home. He showed us the cellar, the grounds, the various types of grapes... We tasted the wines with his explanations, very detailed but also very simple for those who, like us, are "ignorant" wine lovers. He prepared an aperitivo for us with local products (cured meats and cheeses), and bread and oil from the estate. Everything was delicious! We will come back with friends to have a nice aperitivo!

5 Wonderful experience! (Antonina)We had booked the outdoor picnic experience and winery tour but due to rain they were very kind and offered to change the picnic to the tasting. It was a wonderful experience! During the winery tour, our guide was very kind and explained the entire wine production process to us. Afterwards we had the chance to taste all the wines produced by the winery, as well as delicious oil and honey they produce and other typical local products. During the tasting as well, the guide explained every detail of the wines. An excellent opportunity to spend time with new people, drink and eat very well, all seasoned with the kindness and passion of the staff. At the end of the experience it is also possible to buy their products directly from the on-site shop. We will recommend it to all our friends and will definitely be back!

Truly incredible quality/price ratio. The quality of the wine in Bag-in-Box is also to be highlighted. Furthermore, the DOCG Colline Teramane (and also the Riserva) is to be tasted at all costs!
