About Winery and Wines
The Ladogana family has been crafting wine for four generations and is one of the pioneers in certified organic wine production in Apulia. Since 1996, they have grown grapes exclusively from their own vineyards. In 2006, Agricola Ladogana s.r.l. was founded to carry forward the family's winemaking traditions, ensuring that the techniques and knowledge gathered over decades are passed down to future generations. In 2011, the family built a new, state-of-the-art winery in the countryside of Orta Nova, Northern Apulia, to elevate their mission of producing certified wines of superior quality. Located in the historical area of Passo d'Orta, their wines celebrate the deep connection between the land and the people, honoring the ancient roads of Southern Italy, known as Tratturi Regi, with the 60PASSI line—a tribute to the region’s rich heritage.
Ladogana Vini offers a selection of organic wines that reflect the rich terroir of Apulia. Their vineyards, spanning 24 hectares, are cultivated with native Apulian varieties such as Nero di Troia, Negroamaro, Primitivo, and Fiano, as well as international grapes like Syrah, Aglianico, and Chardonnay. The estate’s limestone-rich soils provide the perfect conditions for growing these grapes organically, preserving their natural aromas and flavors. The winery’s production is divided into two lines: 60PASSI, which honors the ancient paths of the region, and Le Selezioni, which focuses on premium quality wines. Each wine, made with passion and care, tells the story of Orta Nova and the Ladogana family's commitment to excellence in organic winemaking.
