Alexandre Burgaud

Winery in Beaujolais, Morgon

About the Winery

Since 1900, the Burgaud family has been cultivating and producing high-quality wines. Alexandre represents the fourth generation of winemakers. He perpetuates the family know-how while adding his own unique touch through winemaking methods close to the terroirs.

The grapes come exclusively from our plots located on the representative terroirs of Beaujolais. At the estate, the old vines are planted at 10,000 vines per hectare; production per vine is very low but of high quality. To maintain this quality while meeting the environmental challenge, the new plantings are planted at 8,000 vines per hectare.
