Az. Rigoli

Winery in Maremma, Cornia Valley, Etruscan Coast

About the Winery

Azienda Rigoli is located in the picturesque Cornia Valley, nestled between Bolgheri and the Tuscan Ore Mountains (Colline Metallifere) in the Alta Maremma region. Since 1992, the Rigoli family has been dedicated to producing high-quality wines that capture the essence of this unique terroir. The vineyards thrive on the rich land that has a long-standing history not only of viticulture but also of olive cultivation. The family focuses on both indigenous grape varieties like Sangiovese, Vermentino, and Ansonica, as well as carefully selected international varieties such as Merlot, Cabernet Franc, and Cabernet Sauvignon. Their wines tell a story of the land's history and its deep connection to the agricultural traditions of Tuscany.

About the Wines

Azienda Rigoli's vineyards extend through the stunning Cornia Valley, offering a diverse selection of wines that reflect the area's unique character. The DOC Cornia Valley wines are a proud representation of the region, combining the boldness of indigenous varieties with the elegance of internationally renowned grapes. From the slopes of Monte Calvi, the vines benefit from the perfect balance of coastal influence and mineral-rich soils, resulting in wines with depth, structure, and a distinct sense of place. Whether you’re enjoying a robust Sangiovese or a refined Cabernet Sauvignon, each bottle from Azienda Rigoli encapsulates the rich agricultural heritage and the passion that the Rigoli family pours into their craft.

Rigoli wine tour and tasting
Wonderful afternoon at Rigoli winery. Guided by a friendly grandson of the Rigoli founder, opportunity to taste grapes straight from the wines, learning about nuances of the wine production, and obviously the tasting of their delicious wines and a treat of Tuscan ham, cheese, bread and olive oil. Fully recommended!
Late tasting - after 6 pm would be a good idea. Many of us are here on holiday, with kids, so tasting after beach/pool time would be ideal

Very nice!
A very nice and interesting experience, many things were explained to us and we were able to ask many questions.
We tasted 4 wines, one better than the other. We were provided with cheeses, cured meats and water, everything was truly delicious.
An experience to be repeated.

Relaxing
Tasting of 4 wines with a platter of cured meats and cheeses, a small bag of bread and crispy flatbread.
I will definitely return with friends and/or relatives.
Everything perfect and everything delicious, the wine in particular.
