AZ.AGR. CA’ TRIFOLERA di Artusio G. & figlie
About the Winery
Cà Trifulera is a small winery located among the rolling hills of Barbaresco, an area historically renowned for exceptional winemaking. Historical documents trace the estate back to 1839, confirming its long-standing agricultural roots. In the 1950s, Pasquale, the father of the family, produced wine here using grapes cultivated in the estate’s own vineyards with dedication and passion.
After a transitional period, the winery has been carefully restored, bringing new life to this historic place while preserving its original spirit. Today, Cà Trifulera continues its tradition with the same commitment to quality and authenticity, focusing on small-scale production and meticulous vineyard care. The philosophy of the estate centers on cultivating fine Nebbiolo grapes in the prestigious “Sorì della Quercia” vineyard, selecting only the best bunches to craft wines capable of satisfying even the most discerning palates.
About the Wines
The wines of Cà Trifulera reflect the elegance and character of the Langhe terroir, combining tradition, craftsmanship, and varietal expression.
The flagship wine, Quercus Barbaresco, is a 100% Nebbiolo from the 2021 vintage, offering a ruby red color, intense herbaceous and spicy aromas, and a refined, harmonious palate with elegant tannins. The winery also produces a Late Harvest Quercus, aged in steel tanks and barrels, characterized by garnet reflections, complexity, warmth, and remarkable structure.
Alongside Nebbiolo, the estate crafts Scorbutica, a blend of 80% Barbera and 20% Nebbiolo, with ripe fruit aromas and a balanced, smooth palate, and Bastardin, a distinctive blend of Nebbiolo, Barbera, Merlot, and Cabernet, combining body, softness, and velvety texture.
All wines are vinified in stainless steel tanks, preserving purity and authenticity while expressing the personality and richness of the territory.
