The Chiappini family winery is located in the heart of the prestigious Bolgheri DOC, along the famous Via Bolgherese, a wine route that is home to some of the most renowned wineries in the region. The history of our estate is deeply rooted in family tradition, beginning with Giovanni Chiappini, the son of farmers who migrated from the Marche region to Bolgheri in the 1950s. Giovanni’s passion for the land and commitment to cultivating its potential has been passed down to his daughters, Martina and Lisa, who now work alongside him, continuing the legacy.

We view the land as a living entity, one that we nurture and respect through sustainable farming practices. Our deep bond with the soil is reflected in the quality of our wines, which embody the unique terroir of Bolgheri. Le Grottine - DOC Bolgheri Vermentino: A 100% Vermentino wine, Le Grottine captures the freshness and elegance of this Mediterranean varietal, offering crisp acidity and vibrant citrus notes.

Rusì - IGT Costa Toscana Rosato: Made from 100% Syrah, Rusì is a lively rosé with bright fruit flavors and a refreshing finish, perfect for enjoying on warm, sunny days.

Ferruggini - DOC Bolgheri Rosso: A harmonious blend of 50% Sangiovese, 30% Cabernet Sauvignon, and 20% Merlot, Ferruggini is a balanced red with a smooth texture and a rich, fruity palate.

Felciaino - DOC Bolgheri Rosso: Composed of 50% Cabernet Sauvignon, 40% Merlot, and 10% Cabernet Franc, Felciaino is a structured and elegant red wine with layers of dark fruit and a long, satisfying finish.

Guado de' Gemoli - DOC Bolgheri Superiore: Our flagship wine, Guado de' Gemoli is a powerful blend of 70% Cabernet Sauvignon, 20% Merlot, and 10% Cabernet Franc. This wine is complex, with deep flavors of blackcurrant, spices, and a hint of oak, showcasing the best of Bolgheri.

Lienà - IGT Toscana Rosso: The Lienà series represents our dedication to single varietal expressions. We produce 100% varietal wines from Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot, and Petit Verdot, each highlighting the distinctive qualities of these noble grapes grown in Bolgheri’s unique climate and soils.
