Located in the heart of the Oltrepò Pavese region, Azienda Vitivinicola Manuelina has a rich history that began in the early 20th century. Founded by Luigi Achilli and his brother Guido, the winery initially focused on producing wine for family and friends before expanding into commercial production. As demand grew, the winery became a popular destination for locals seeking high-quality wines, especially the well-known bulk wines of the time. Over the decades, the winery has evolved, driven by the passion and dedication of the Achilli family.

Today, under the guidance of Luigi’s sons, Paolo and Antonio, the winery has been modernized to meet the needs of contemporary wine lovers while maintaining its strong family heritage. Recently rebranded as Azienda Vitivinicola Manuelina to honor the family’s legacy and avoid confusion with other wineries in the area, the estate now spans 24 hectares of vineyards. The family’s commitment to quality and customer satisfaction remains at the heart of everything they do, ensuring that each bottle reflects the best of the Oltrepò Pavese region.

Azienda Vitivinicola Manuelina offers a wide range of wines, each crafted with care and precision from the estate’s 24 hectares of vineyards. Our sparkling wines, produced from Pinot Nero using both the Metodo Classico and Metodo Charmat, are a standout feature of our portfolio, embodying the elegance of the Oltrepò Pavese’s unique terroir.

We also produce a variety of red wines, including the refined Pinot Nero D.O.P. DOC, the lively Bonarda D.O.P. DOC (available both as a sparkling and still wine aged in large barrels), and the sweet Sangue di Giuda D.O.P. DOC. Our white wines feature the crisp Pinot Nero vinified as a white, the aromatic Riesling D.O.P. DOC, the refreshing Pinot Grigio IGT, and the sweet Moscato IGT. For those who enjoy rosé, our Pinot Nero rosé offers a delightful, light option. Each wine tells a story of tradition, innovation and passion.
