Since 1628, the Vasari family has been engaged in the production of quality wines in the territory of the hills overlooking the valley of the Mela river in the municipalities of Santa Lucia del Mela and Merì. Respect for tradition and the stimulus for continuous innovations constitute the right balance between a history already written and one still to be written, in fact, as the futurists say "if wine is a drink of ancient traditions it is nevertheless a drink that is renewed annually, dynamic drink, which contains man-fuel and engine-fuel ”. A journey through time that, from generation to generation, accompanies the skilful and meticulous work of the Vasari family in the constant search for an exclusive product with authentic flavors. History is a dive into art, it evokes events and emotions that have generated culture and passions, marking time and the generations that have followed.

In this place where the wind mixes the scent of orange blossom with the acrid smell of sulfur and from which at dusk you can see the tender embrace between sun and sea, the fruit of the earth is transformed into "red and white gold". Each glass of Vasari wine tells the aromas and flavors of the noblest autochthonous varieties of this land, Grillo, Inzolia and Cataratto for the whites, Nero D'Avola and Nocera for the reds. The Vasari family vineyards are planted in the most fertile areas at 250/300 meters. of height with West-North / West exposure on the hills overlooking the valley of the Mela river in the municipalities of Santa Lucia del Mela and Merì. The vines are treated with natural methods and treated with short pruning so as to favor a low yield of the strain, guaranteeing a superior quality of the grapes. The attention to the surrounding environment, together with the knowledge of each single vineyard, allows to obtain wines that fully enhance the organoleptic properties of the terroir of origin.
