5 Exeptional (Kimberly)What a special night for our family. Olga, our host, had just become a certified sommelier and did an amazing job giving us a tour and explaining the history of the vineyard. We had a really delicious spread of food with 4 different wines including a dessert wine. I highly recommend this tour!

5 Great day in Messina (Diane)We were on a cruise stop and this was the perfect way to spend the day. We were picked up right at the port, given a tour of the beautiful winery and enjoyed a delicious gourmet lunch which was accompanied by several different amazing wines. 5 Bad weather didn’t spoil the experience (Diana)I booked winetasting for my sister’s birthday, we (me, my mom and sister) expected enjoying the sunset while having a glass of wine outside but the weather was against us - it was raining and cloudy so we barely saw a sunset :( Despite that, we had a great time! The tour was in English with a super nice guide and amazingly tasty wines served with some !delicious! appetizers. Originally we are from Ukraine, we have visited different wineries before that are located in Ukraine and Russia. So we were happy to enrich our experience by this outstanding and exclusive Italian/Sicilian winery. Now we can say with no joke we have tasted a “nectar of gods” - Malvasia - and we loved it! I also want to mention the transfer service because Giovani was so nice, he made a mini bus tour for us and gave us souvenir lava stones on our way back :D I Thank all the team of Tenuta di Castellaro for this amazing experience! 5 Authentic and incredibly relaxing winery experience (Justin)We visited the winery with 4 people (booking in advance via winedering.com was completely hassle-free) and are absolutely thrilled. We were personally welcomed by the owner, Nino, and guided through the beautiful, peacefully situated estate. Besides the classic grapevines and olive trees, there are even cotton plants to discover! What we particularly liked: the experience wasn't touristy at all. Everything is wonderfully calm and unhurried. At no point did we feel rushed; instead, we were able to take as much time as we wanted for everything. This created an incredibly relaxed atmosphere. The snacks served with the wine were also of exceptionally high quality and consisted entirely of regional products. Huge compliments to Nino and his team! A big recommendation to anyone who is considering booking a wine tasting here. Do it, it is absolutely worth it!

4 Excellent wine, style and welcome to be reconsidered (Luisa)We are very happy to have tasted the typical pure Nocera and the various blends from the Winery. The Cambria brothers have been very brave in focusing on innovation and the study of the Nocera grape variety, the wines are truly high quality and it is worth going for this tasting. Unfortunately, the place where they welcomed us for the introduction and tasting is not up to the quality of the wine and the good products that accompany the tasting. While on the one hand the wines and products are excellent, on the other hand the small room and the setup of the tasting (without a side table and small plates) are inadequate. It would be enough to get rid of the plastic chairs, offer the tasting outside under the patio as well, and provide at least a small plate and a small fork. It's a shame because the wines and the winery tour are of high quality. However, recommended! An experience to have and a haul of wines to enrich your own private cellar.

4 Good, but… (Caroline)The overall experience was very good. Francesco, Adamo, and Rosario were really kind. However, on the Winedering site, the info wasn't correct. The excursion time indicated 9 a.m. and, once we arrived, the tour only started at 11:30 a.m. So we waited for 2 hours. Fortunately, our hosts took care of us. So, for my part, you should book directly with the winery.

5 Unique experience (Serena)It was truly a fantastic experience! The Estate is beautiful, the staff was kind, friendly and very precise in the explanation of the wines and the grape variety. The wines are really good, I liked the red one very much. Tasting them while watching the sun set over Salina, Filicudi and Alicudi is priceless. Absolutely recommended
