Cantina Musìta

Musìta was named after a hill in which the winery is located in Salemi, Sicily. Out of the love for this land, the Ardagna Family decided to invest in an ambitious, but highly desired, land redevelopment project. This has managed to enrich with new stimulus the whole area. The family joined forces (alongside children and grandchildren) in the process of buying and renovation a former winery, and such giving it a new life and a whole new dignity. After a long work, the cellar is brought to life, where new technologies were able to take care of the entire production processes, allowing to preserve the peculiarities of the territories.

Through cultivation techniques that respect the increasingly delicate balance of the environment, the involvement of dedicated staff and wine-making attentive to the senses and characteristics of the grapes, Musìta is making marks on the path of community rebirth with the growing and developing area. With this in mind, Musìta developed the "partners in the vineyards" project. The program requires the involvement of selected winegrowers in Salemi and the application of the quality management protocol, developed by Musìta, in the partners' vineyard. The winegrowers have full and constant assistance from the winery's agronomists, oenologists and technicians for activities ranging from the soil to the grape harvest. White wines produced: Grillo, Catarratto, Chardonnay, Zibibbo. Red wines produced: Nero D'avola, Syrah, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon.
