Castello di Coiano - Winemakers since 1885

Historic company of Valdelsa, an ancient Florentine village and medieval stronghold, on the border with Pisa and Siena, currently made up of 4 corporate bodies (the result of acquisitions over time): Coiano, Vinci, Cerreto Guidi, and Baratti.

Production of various types of wines thanks to the diversity and quantity of hectares cultivated with vines. In addition, two types of Vinsanto and a blend of extra virgin olive oil are produced thanks to our more than 3000 plants.

The company has developed hospitality and receptivity through the creation of tailor-made tasting packages and a dedicated corporate tour that includes a visit to the splendid villa/castle, an asset of the FAI and the Fine Arts, renovated in half ‘800.

We are in the heart of Tuscany, 1 hour drive from Florence, Siena, and Pisa. Ideal hills for the king of Tuscan red grapes, Sangiovese, our main variety from which we produce our 3 Chiantis.

In addition to Sangiovese, we grow Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Canaiolo, Colorino, Trebbiano, Vermentino, and Malvasia Bianca thanks to our 80 hectares of vineyards.

Also, two types of Vinsanto and a blend of Extra Virgin Olive Oil.
