The Cossignani family has been cultivating the land in Val Menocchia since the 1800s, carrying forward a legacy of respect for nature and tradition. However, it was our grandfather, Nonno Saturnino, in the 1950s, who initiated a significant transformation, dedicating the family to viticulture. For three generations, we have worked tirelessly as stewards of this extraordinary valley, safeguarding its biodiversity and honoring its history.

Born and raised in these hills, we are deeply rooted in this land between Massignano and Montefiore dell’Aso. The unique geography of Val Menocchia, nestled between the Sibillini mountains and the Adriatic Sea, offers our vineyards a distinctive microclimate. The cool mountain air, saline sea breezes, and southeast-facing slopes create perfect conditions for producing wines with unparalleled character.

Our philosophy blends tradition with innovation. While the tenacity and wisdom of our ancestors shape our approach, we also look ahead, believing that a sustainable vision is essential to the future of winemaking.

At the heart of our craft is the Metodo Classico sparkling wine, a harmonious blend of art and science. We are dedicated to producing exclusively Organic Classic Method Sparkling Wines, using both native and international varietals.

Our vineyards, nurtured by limestone sandstones rich in minerals, yield grapes that thrive in Val Menocchia's unique climate. This terroir shapes vertical and long-lived wines that reflect the essence of our land.

The proximity to the Sibillini mountains provides cool night air, creating significant temperature fluctuations that enhance the aromatic complexity of our wines. During the day, saline breezes from the Adriatic Sea bring natural ventilation, contributing to the distinctive organoleptic profile of our sparkling wines.
