About Winery and Wines
Located in the middle of the vineyard in Ingersheim, the Domaine de l'Envol is a family estate. Created in 2016 by the winegrowers Catherine and her brother Daniel Hirsinger, with their parents Manuela and Bernard, and Raphaël Marchal who is Catherine life partner. What moved them to start the estate is their will to produce 100% of their grape production into alsatian biodynamic wine, respecting the biodyversity of the vineyard and its surounding as well as the life in the wine, and the health of winelovers.
Certified organic and biodynamic, the estate is driven by the goal of transcribing at its best the complexity of alsatians terroir and with the philosophy of sharing experiences and their passion, authenticity and conviviality.
The Domaine de l'Envol offers sparkling wines, terroirs wines as well as grands crus. For the most curious winediscoverers, macerated (orange) wine and sweet wines are also available to taste.
Passionated, the young winemakers offer to discover fully their wine approach and the story of wines from Alsace.
The vineyard is located in Ingersheim, Katzenthal and Pfaffenheim, all in a perimeter of 15km from the estate.
The wines of the estate are very diverse : the family estate owns about a hundred parcels on a total of 22 hectares, to produce wines expressive of their terroir and the alsatian grape. The winemaking process happens with indegineous yeasts, and the fermentation is long.
Are then offered lieux dits wines (from terroir of villages), grands crus, wines aged in barrel, macerated wines, sweet wines. All are certified biodynamic and organic.
