The OperaVino cellars lie in the heart of historic Castellina, along the medieval “Via delle Volte” and the “Piazza della Torre.” Housed in ancient cellars dating back to before 1400, they welcome visitors with guided tastings of top local wines – Chianti Classico, IGT, and Super Tuscans – paired with regional specialties. Tastings are enriched by seminars that explore the area’s history and the traditional techniques behind Chianti Classico and extra virgin olive oil production.

OperaVino is the wine shop of the Belvedere di San Leonino hotel and winery. It was created to bring our carefully curated selection of wines,crafted in the Chianti Classico area, directly to you. Housed within a four‑star estate surrounded by its own Chianti Classico vineyards, Belvedere di San Leonino is more than just a hotel; it’s a destination for wine lovers who seek authenticity, quality, and the soulful spirit of Tuscany.
