Great small scale wine tour

Very nice tour through the biodynamic vineyards and cellar with a friendly and knowledgeable guide that answered all our questions. Learned a lot about wine making in general and Carmignano wine in particular. Tasted 4 great wines from the latest vintage.

Surprised by such a lovely hospitality

We are juste 2 of us but the owner was very kind and welcoming. I booked the visit in English but the owner spoke French too !! Amazing ! We were treated as VIP. Thank you very much.

Davvero una bella esperienza. Rossella preparatissima, molto carina, anche se eravamo solo in due si é presa tutto il tempo per spiegarci e parlare insieme della vigna dai cenni storici alla filosofia attuale. I vini ci sono piaciuti, ne abbiamo presi un paio. Il posto una favola, in mezzo ai colli, da lì si vede tutta la zona di Carmignano. Torneremo sicuramente. Abbiamo avuto l’impressione fosse tutto molto autentico, compresi i locali della cantina che abbiamo visitato e non un’attività preconfezionata per i turisti. La degustazione al tavolo con il camino acceso é stata il massimo. Pareva la cucina di un contadino del 1600.

Il navigatore fa fare una strada non agibile per arrivare alla fattoria, magari da segnalarlo. Comunque trovata senza problemi con i suggerimenti dei gentilissimi abitanti del borgo

Esperienza divina

Bellissima degustazione. La produttrice bravissima, competente ed empatica. Ci ha portato in vigna e parlato con molta passione dell’amore per il suo territorio. I produttori che mi mettono il cuore. Degustazione davanti al focolare molto suggestiva. Vini meravigliosi. Giornata fantastica.

La padrona di casa è stata molto gentile e cordiale, ci ha accompagnato nei vigneti e nelle cantine dove il suo Carmignano prende vita. Ottimo vino e buonissima la bruschetta con olio e pomodori di loro produzione

About Winery and Wines

Fattoria di Bacchereto was born on the hills of Carmignano, in a unique scenario that opens from Florence to Pistoia, surrounded by the woods of Montalbano. The estate has ancient origins, dating back to the 15th century with the Medici family. Over the years the estate became the property of the Bencini Tesi family and the turning point came in the 1960s with the start of oil and wine production. In 2002, the estate was consecrated to biodynamic methods, with the aim of preserving the places and the nature that surrounds it in the most careful and loving way possible.

The vineyards of the Fattoria di Bacchereto cover about 8 hectares of the estate, at an altitude of between 200 and 500 metres above sea level, and include Trebbiano, Sangiovese, Canaiolo nero and Cabernet Sauvignon vines. In the wine cellar, a wine is produced from indigenous yeasts, without any help from chemicals. The mainstay of the estate is, of course, Carmignano, a wine made from a blend of Sangiovese, Canaiolo nero and Cabernet Sauvignon, which perfectly reflects the principles of biodynamics and is capable of expressing a great personality.
