5 Breathtaking view - Full tasting experience (IRINI)The visit to Capezzana Winery was a true experience among the amazing things we did in a Tuscany this June. We tasted some really memorable wines, mostly red ones, and had the opportunity to enjoy them along with cold cuts while admiring the most beautiful view.

5 A surreal and fantastic tour and tasting experience (Christine)Roselle, the owner was very gracious and the story telling about the history of the place from the owner’s perspective which was mimirising, It transformed us back to the old times! It was surreal! It is an organic vineyard, so everything they do is almost manual. The place is clean and has a very family oriented feel. We feel like stepping into a family affair and being well treated as guests. The tasting room has the feel of someone’s kitchen, very clean, well presented and has a rustic feel (old/traditional) - we love it!

5 Intimate cooking class (Akua)My friends and I (bachelorette trip) had such an amazing time! We felt that the cooking class was very intimate (which was perfect) and very fun! The chefs were very nice and explained every detailed of the meals. The entire staff was amazing , from the wine service, to lunch , to the wine tour, everything was perfect. I would recommend the cooking class! A family member of the vineyard even ate lunch with us which was truly special .

5 Very pleasant (D.)A genuine, family atmosphere; the owner was very kind and very passionate in telling the story of the territory and of her business. Very good wines, full-bodied and important. Very good accompanying food. The only flaw: the bruschetta had too much garlic, a seasoning that isn't to everyone's taste.

5 Visit to Fattoria di Bacchereto (Emiliano)A farm immersed in nature, among vineyards and olive groves. A delightful welcome from the lady, owner of the entire production, both wine and olive oil. Our visit was focused mainly on the winemaking part and it was truly very interesting, as the lady also elaborated on topics related to vinification that are not usually covered during classic tastings. Wines of excellent quality, the vin santo truly sublime. Obviously highly recommended.

5 Great wines (Silvia)I visited this beautiful winery nestled in the woods at 200 meters above sea level. A biodynamic winery belonging to the 'Triple A' movement, the ownership pays the utmost attention to the quality of the grapes to obtain fine wines without the aid of enological products. I was also able to taste the Sangiovese must that had been fermenting for a few days, a sweet, delicious, not-yet-alcoholic juice, from which you can perceive the quality of the grapes used. The visit to the vineyard and then to the characteristic cellar, passing through the 'caratelli' room where the Vinsanto ages for 8 years, concluded with a tasting of their 4 wines accompanied by bruschetta with the oil of their own production. The wines are full-bodied and elegant, both the reds and the macerated white, a tannic white with the color of gold that paired perfectly with the bruschetta with tomato sauce. And what to say about the Vinsanto? A delight with notes of dried fruit, dried figs and honey, with a savory freshness that would make you drink more, and more, and more.

Rossella was extremely knowledgeable, very nice, even though there were only two of us she took all the time to explain and talk with us about the vineyard from its historical notes to its current philosophy. We liked the wines, we bought a couple. The place is a fairytale, in the middle of the hills, from there you can see the whole Carmignano area. We will definitely be back. We had the impression that everything was very authentic, including the winery premises we visited, and not a pre-packaged activity for tourists. The tasting at the table with the fireplace lit was the best. It looked like a farmer's kitchen from the 1600s.

We visited the cellars and the splendid villa "La Ferdinanda", which is without furnishings but some frescoes remain visible and well-preserved.
