Filarole
About the Winery
In the beautiful hills of the Tidone Valley in Emilia Romagna, Filarole is dedicated to preserving tradition through organic agriculture. Our vineyards, aged between 30 and 100 years, are nurtured with manual care and respect for the land. "Filarole" comes from the Piacenza dialect, referring to rows of vines. We embrace sustainable practices, ensuring that each visit to our estate is not only a discovery of unique wines but also a journey through a region with a rich winemaking history
About the Wines
At Filarole, we produce wines that express the essence of our territory, relying on the grapes of Piacenza: Malvasia di Candia, Ortrugo, Trebbiano, Barbera, and Croatina. Every bunch is handpicked, ensuring only the best grapes are used. Our wines are crafted with minimal intervention, adding only small amounts of sulfites when necessary. The result? A selection of still, dry wines—orange, rosé, and red—that are intensely flavored and reflective of our local terroir and traditions.
