About Winery and Wines

FLORAMI farm was born out of a deep love for our land and a passion for the rich food and wine traditions of the Vesuvian region. Founded in 2013 by winemakers and farmers deeply connected to their heritage, FLORAMI represents the excellence of Trecase, a region at the foot of Mount Vesuvius. The volcanic soil, enriched by numerous eruptions, is particularly fertile and rich in minerals such as potassium, iron, phosphorus, and silica, making it an ideal environment for vine cultivation. At FLORAMI, we practice ungrafted viticulture, preserving the authenticity of the vitis vinifera by growing it without grafting onto American rootstock. This method allows the vines to retain their natural characteristics, resulting in wines that fully express the unique terroir of our land. Our wines are crafted with full respect for Vesuvian traditions, and we specialize in producing macerated white wines that embody the authentic flavors of our region.

FLORAMI produces two organic, ungrafted Falanghina wines, both deeply rooted in the Vesuvian tradition. Our wines are macerated white wines, a process that brings out the full potential of the Falanghina grape. The first label, "Ìndole," undergoes a one-week maceration process, while the second label, "Conlebucce," is macerated for about a month. Both wines are refined in the bottle for 8-12 months, allowing the rich, mineral-infused flavors of the volcanic soil to shine through. These wines offer a true taste of Vesuvian heritage, preserving the purity of the Falanghina grape and showcasing the unique characteristics of our land.
