Freccianera is one of the oldest and best preserved wineries in Franciacorta, one of the few that has never changed ownership. Frescoes dating back to the Renaissance have been brought to light among its authentic 14th-century vaults, and medieval weapons have been found in its vineyards, inspiring the choice of its current name.
Freccianera produces its Franciacorta wines respecting three essential principles: it uses only Chardonnay, Pinot Bianco, and Pinot Nero grapes from its own vineyards, it harvests strictly by hand, and it personally manages the maturation and bottling processes within the property.
