Il Pignetto

Winery in Lake Garda, Chiaretto, Custoza, Bardolino

About the Winery

Il Pignetto is a fourth-generation family-run winery led by Adriano and his daughters, Ilaria and Silvia. On a morainic hill of Lake Garda, near Verona, we manage 8 hectares of vineyards and 2 of olive groves. The clayey and limestone-rich soil gives their wines a distinct sapidity, minerality and elegance.

As proud members of FIVI, we oversee every stage of production: we cultivate the vines, vinify our own grapes, and bottle and sell the wine directly at the winery. Our philosophy prioritizes the raw material, employing manual harvesting to select the finest bunches and a low-impact vinification style. At Il Pignetto, wine is a storytelling medium that evolves with every vintage, as it faithfully reflects the ever-changing and unrepeatable rhythm of Nature.

About the Wines

We produce territory wines: Chiaretto di Bardolino DOC, Bardolino DOC and Custoza DOC. To enhance our region potential, we created three Cru: Le Morandine (Chiaretto di Bardolino DOC), Custoza 218 and Sommacampagna Bardolino DOC.
At Il Pignetto you can also find other wines, such us our “Morandone” and “Campo del Bepi”, dedicated to grandpa Giuseppe. If you’re getting curious come to visit us in the winery, a taste is worth a thousand words.

A beautiful tasting
It was the first time I booked a tasting through this site and everything went quickly, easily, and without complications; as for the visit itself, it was beautiful: Silvia, the owner's daughter and our guide, showed incredible kindness and expertise and satisfied all our curiosities and more about the wines and the farm. We could not have wished for a better guide, nor a better tasting! All the wines we tasted were excellent and getting to know the people who produce them makes them even more special. The place is also wonderful. We were both more than enthusiastic and satisfied with the experience and we brought home bottles for ourselves and our enthusiast relatives. I one thousand percent recommend Il Pignetto and Winedering!
If you go to Il Pignetto, absolutely their Custoza 218 and the Morandone, both complex and excellent wines that left us speechless.
