Valetti Winery is a testament to the enduring spirit of family and tradition, nestled in the picturesque region of Bardolino, near the stunning Lake Garda. The story of Valetti began in the early 1900s when Angelo Valetti, with money borrowed from his brother who had emigrated to America, purchased a small piece of land in Bardolino. Here, he planted his first vineyard, laying the foundation for a legacy that would be carried forward by his son Luigi and now by his grandsons, Stefano, Luca, and Davide. Today, the Valetti family continues to honor the traditions established by their grandfather while embracing modern techniques to produce wines that capture the essence of the Bardolino region. The winery, still family-run, is a harmonious blend of history and innovation, where every detail—from the cultivation of the vines to the crafting of the wines—reflects the family’s dedication to excellence. Visitors to Valetti Winery are welcomed not just to taste the wines but to experience the rich heritage and passion that have been passed down through generations. The winery is beautifully situated, offering a serene landscape of rolling hills and the sparkling waters of Lake Garda. A visit to Valetti is more than a wine tasting; it’s an immersion into the heart of Bardolino, where the past and present come together in a celebration of viticulture and family tradition.

The Tantini estate stretches across the communes of Castelnuovo del Garda and Sona in the province of Verona. It is perched on the terminal moraine overlooking Lake Garda. Family-owned since the early 20th century, it comprises 11.5 hectares of vineyards, a winery built in 2002, and a farmhouse B & B renovated in 2011. In total, there are 19 hectares and the estate’s wines are produced exclusively from its own fruit. Production of wine is this area pre-dates the Romans. Lake Garda exerts a significant influence on the microclimate with diminished continentality and mild winters, all of which are most favorable for the cultivation of Vitis vinifera. The soils are alluvial (although of glacial origin) with deep gravel deposits over limestone that offer superb drainage. Optimal soil fertility is a primary concern as the supply of organic material must balance the low proportions of silt and clay. The lower Garda zone has long been recognized for the excellence of its wines and four DOCs overlap on the property: Bardolino, Custoza, and Garda.

The history of Casa Vitivinicola Tinazzi began with the commitment and passion of Eugenio Tinazzi at the end of the 1960s in Cavaion Veronese, part of the splendid hinterland of Lake Garda. Gian Andrea Tinazzi, the founder’s son, then only 18 years of age, worked alongside his father in running the business from the outset and, thanks to his decisive and entrepreneurial character, gradually broadened the company's horizons, both in terms of production and markets. Today, Gian Andrea’s children, Francesca and Giorgio, work with their father in managing what has become a major production group based in Lazise, on Lake Garda. The family owns vineyards and estates not only in Veneto, in the areas of Bardolino and Valpolicella but also in another region of great character and growing qualitative potential, Apulia, a region they love and which they always believed had great winemaking potential. The wines of the Cantine Tinazzi are now sold in more than 30 countries around the world.
