La Spinosa

Founded in 1982, La Spinosa began as a shared dream of a group of friends passionate about organic farming and wine. Located in Tuscany, the estate spans 70 hectares, 20 of which are dedicated to vineyards, with the remainder devoted to olive groves and other farming. A pioneer of organic viticulture, certified since 1994, La Spinosa has maintained a low environmental impact approach to agriculture. Visitors can experience a truly authentic and sustainable Tuscan winery that respects tradition while cultivating the region’s native grape varieties, especially Sangiovese.

La Spinosa focuses on producing a range of high-quality organic wines, emphasizing the unique characteristics of its terroir and grape varieties. The estate produces 13 dry wines and one sweet wine, with Sangiovese being the cornerstone of its offerings. Each wine is crafted to showcase the distinctiveness of the land, with the entire process carried out organically. In addition to wines, La Spinosa also produces exceptional extra-virgin olive oil from its centuries-old olive trees, renowned for its high nutritional value and flavor.
