Le Rive
About the Winery
Le Rive was born from the desire to preserve and promote the extraordinary landscape and cultural heritage of a territory where viticulture has shaped the identity of local communities for centuries. Located between the hills of Valdobbiadene, the plains of Marca Trevigiana, and the lands crossed by the Piave River, the winery operates in an environment defined by tranquility, water, and a deep agricultural tradition.
This territory, admired for thousands of years and associated with illustrious figures such as Ernest Hemingway and Goffredo Parise, is characterized by remarkable pedological diversity created by the action of the Piave River over centuries. From the rocky hillsides of Valdobbiadene to the alluvial soils rich in magnesium and Dolomite limestone in the plains of Negrisia, every vineyard area offers unique characteristics that define the identity of the wines.
Le Rive’s philosophy is deeply connected to this landscape, respecting the natural balance between soil, climate, water, and vines, while preserving the historic winemaking traditions of Veneto and Friuli.
About the Wines
The wines of Le Rive are authentic expressions of the diverse terroirs of Treviso and Friuli, where rivers, hills, and mineral-rich soils create ideal conditions for viticulture.
The winery is particularly renowned for its Prosecco, produced in the steep hills of the Treviso area, where the Glera grape achieves freshness, elegance, and aromatic intensity. Alongside Prosecco, Le Rive also celebrates the historic and indigenous Raboso Piave, a powerful and structured grape variety that has characterized winemaking in Marca Trevigiana for more than 600 years and for which the winery represents an important reference point.
The vineyards benefit from the influence of the Piave River and, in Friuli, the Torre stream, whose waters contribute to maintaining ideal conditions for vine cultivation. Through careful vineyard management and respect for local traditions, Le Rive produces wines that combine freshness, character, and a strong connection to their territory, offering a complete expression of the landscapes and culture of northeastern Italy.
