Luciano Arduini

Winery in Valpolicella, Amarone, Valpolicella Classica

About the Winery

The Luciano Arduini Winery traces its roots back to the 1940s when Gabriele Arduini established the business in the small town of Canal in Marano of Valpolicella. The winery was passed to his son Battista in 1969, who expanded it by incorporating lands from the historic Villa Banda Amistà estate. In 2000, Luciano, Battista's son, brought modern winemaking methods to the family business. Today, Luciano works alongside his son Andrea in the vineyards and cellar, while his wife Silvana manages administration, and his daughter Sofia oversees hospitality. The winery continues to evolve, staying true to its heritage while embracing new developments. With over 70 years of winemaking tradition, Luciano Arduini Winery remains committed to producing exceptional wines from the Valpolicella region, merging time-honored techniques with innovative practices.

About the Wines

The Luciano Arduini Winery produces its wines from grapes grown exclusively in its own vineyards, located in the Valpolicella region, renowned for its rich, diverse terroir. The distinctiveness of Valpolicella wines comes from both the local landscape and the noble characteristics of the red grape varieties cultivated there. The winery's approach focuses on maintaining close attention to vineyard cultivation, minimizing intervention during the winemaking process to preserve the natural qualities of the grapes. This dedication ensures wines that fully express the unique attributes of Valpolicella.

An anniversary to remember
We decided to participate in this tasting for the passion we have, me first and foremost, for Amarone and Valpolicella. Sofia, a young and very sharp girl, welcomed us! She gave us a tour of the vineyards and the cellar, owned by the family for generations… we were fascinated by everything.
At the end of the visit, we sat down at the table to taste their delicacies. 5 excellent wines accompanied by homemade salami and cheeses.
Sofia told us about the wines we tasted and answered our questions and curiosities! Time flew by and if we could have, we would have stayed there to walk in the beautiful vineyards but we had to go home to the kids!
Truly a very pleasant experience that I warmly recommend!
Congratulations to Sofia and her whole family for this journey and for the work done and that they continue to do with passion…
Thank you

A wonderful experience in Valpolicella
Small family-run business, where each member has a well-defined role.
We met Sofia, who accompanied us on this experience, and Mr. Luciano's daughter, who was very kind and very knowledgeable, and explained to us in a very simple way everything they do and how they achieve their results.
What else is there to say? Excellent wine, where the Amarone stands out above all.
