Ottimo e interessante
Mangiate qualcosa prima!
Andateci!!

About Winery and Wines
Schiopetto Winery, one of the most iconic producers in Friuli, has been a symbol of excellence in Italian winemaking since its founding. Located in the heart of the Collio region, Schiopetto was a pioneer in transforming the local winemaking approach by emphasizing purity, precision, and a deep connection to the terroir. The winery’s founder, Mario Schiopetto, was a visionary who revolutionized Italian white wines in the 1960s by introducing modern techniques that enhanced the aromatic and structural qualities of the grapes. Today, Schiopetto remains family-owned, with a commitment to upholding Mario’s legacy of quality, innovation, and respect for the land. The estate’s vineyards, spread across the rolling hills of Friuli, benefit from ideal conditions for cultivating native varieties that reflect the region’s unique terroir and climate.
Schiopetto Winery is renowned for its elegant and refined white wines, crafted from both indigenous and international grape varieties. The estate’s flagship wines include Friulano, Sauvignon, and Ribolla Gialla, each expressing the distinct minerality and freshness characteristic of the Collio region. Schiopetto's commitment to quality extends from the vineyard to the cellar, where modern winemaking techniques are employed to preserve the natural aromas and flavors of the grapes. The winery also produces structured red wines, highlighting the versatility of the region’s terroir. Each bottle from Schiopetto reflects the family’s dedication to producing wines that honor the legacy of Mario Schiopetto while showcasing the best of Friulian winemaking.
