About Winery and Wines
Montesole is a charming countryside residence overlooking the crystal-clear sea of Licata. Nestled among olive groves and Mediterranean landscapes, it offers an authentic Sicilian escape where nature, sea, and tranquility meet.
While we don’t produce wine, we have a deep passion for it, which is why we proudly offer a curated collection of Sicilian wines. Our true signature, however, is our own extra virgin olive oil, crafted with care from the trees that surround the estate.
Montesole's family farm extends over 20 hectares of olive groves, where we cultivate some of Sicily’s most prized varieties — Nocellara, Cerasuola, Tonda Iblea, and Biancolilla. Each season, these trees gift us the olives that we carefully transform into our extra virgin olive oil.
Two years ago, we also created a panoramic area dedicated to wine tastings, where guests can enjoy the finest Sicilian labels from our own wine boutique, all while taking in sweeping views of the countryside and sea.
