Olianas
About the Winery
Olianas is located in the heart of the most authentic Sardinia, a land deeply rooted in viticulture, agriculture, and pastoral traditions. Here, among endless landscapes and vibrant colors, unspoiled nature has coexisted for centuries with vineyards — true gardens of biodiversity.
We are in the Sarcidano region, one of the island’s historic areas for vine cultivation, where the soils vary widely: sandy, calcareous, clay-rich, and volcanic.
This diversity of terrain makes each vineyard unique and influences the character of our native grape varieties — Cannonau, Bovale, Semidano, as well as the aromatic Nasco and Malvasia — each expressing different aromas and personalities depending on the soil in which they grow.
About the Wines
The native grape varieties of Sardinia are deeply connected to this land, where they have been cultivated for centuries using traditional methods, producing unique aromas that reflect the local climate. The transformation of these grapes goes beyond winemaking, taking on a cultural significance.
A native grape variety is one that has been grown in its place of origin for centuries, reflecting the characteristics of the land. Among the rows of Cannonau, Vermentino, Tintillu, Nasco, Bovale, and Carignano, the stories of Olianas unfold—stories of Sardinia. From these tales and grape varieties come Olianas wines: native wines that speak Sardinian.

A perfect experience
The food was local and delicious, with very good product directly from their fields.
Of course, we tasted the wine, wich was delicious.
The way we are free to walk in a so calm and peaceful place, alone, made this moment magical. The view and the landscapes were absolutly beautiful.
To finish, I really want to thanks the employees of Olianas for their welcome and kindness. Meet them and talk to them was a part of the experience and they made it even better.
